Inter coach Roberto Mancini has informed the Nerazzurri hierarchy that he wants to sign both Paulo Dybala and Edin Dzeko to replace Mauro Icardi, should the Argentine forward depart the club at the end of the season.

Having scored 14 goals in 24 league appearances this season, Icardi has recently caught the attention of Jose Mourinho with rumours circulating that Chelsea are preparing a €40 million bid to bring the 22-year-old to west London.

Tuttosport understands that were a deal to go ahead, the Nerazzurri would reinvest the money in their attack with the coach having identified Palermo’s Dybala and his former Manchester City charge Dzeko as his primary targets.

Inter are currently in negotiations with Icardi over a new contract and Corriere dello Sport reports that the two parties are close to a deal. However, even if the player was to renew his current terms with Inter it would not preclude a summer transfer to the English Premier League.
