Hellas Verona coach Andrea Mandorlini has stated that his side could’ve done much better in their 2-0 defeat to Lazio on Sunday night.
The former Inter defender pointed out that the Biancocelesti’s shape made it difficult on his side to achieve a victory like they did against Napoli last week.
“They were on top form, so we couldn’t repeat what we did against Napoli,” he told Rai Sport. “We had a go after we conceded early in the first half, but the second goal ended the game.
“We would have had to be very special if we wanted to win; however, we could’ve done much better.”
The Mastini will play host to Cesena on April 4 in their upcoming Serie A fixture.
