Chievo coach Rolando Maran felt his side could have been slightly more composed against AC Milan after their 0-0 draw.
Maran feels that his side has been improving but can still make marginal gains.
“There were lots of occasions when we could have been more composed,” said Maran to Sky Sport Italia after the game.
“Today I wanted to make people understand that the defeat against Empoli was a one off.
“We can still make marginal improvements, all the boys are giving everything that they can give.”
Maran also spoke about the midfield duo of Federico Mattiello and Ezequiel Schelotto.
“With Mattiello in midfield we are a bit more dangerous. The duo of Mattiello and Schelotto did a great job.
“They gave a lot and delivered a lot of crosses.
“We have to make the most of our characteristics and we did that today.”
