AC Milan may be poised to offload striker Stephan El Shaarawy at the end of the current campaign, as reports suggest he is one of the few players at the San Siro with any marketable value.

The Italian international burst onto the Serie A scene two seasons ago, finishing up as the Rossoneri top scorer at the end of 2013.  However, due to a succession of injuries and poor form, the Little Pharoah has been a shadow of his former, scoring just two goals since.

According to Tuttosport, despite the lack any official approach so far for the star, the fact that he does have admirers means that he may well be sacrificed in the Summer to help fund the acquisition of new players to the club.

The 22-year-old has already made 79 appearances for the San Siro side as well as featuring ten times for the Italian national team.

It will be sad to see him leave, but I think it is the right time, looking at who else Milan are likely to sell in the summer- Robinho, Matri, Pazzini perhaps, dare I say Mastour goes on loan. Not much money to be made unless Il Faraone goes.
