Juventus director Beppe Marotta admitted his side will simply have to learn to adapt when the time comes for Carlos Tevez to leave the club.

The Argentine hitman’s contract in Turin runs out in summer 2016 but there has been speculation that he could leave before then – with a move back to Boca Juniors being touted as the likeliest move for him when he does depart the Bianconeri.

Speaking to Gazzetta dello SportĀ about the forward’s situation, Marotta said: “Carlos has a contract until 2016 and we have not talked with him about anything yet.

“We owe him so much because he has given so much to this club. If he does decide to leave Juve, then we will have to adapt and deal with that.”

It seems that when the time does come, it will be young Spanish star Alvaro Morata who the club pin their hopes for the future upon.

“We signed Morata because we were impressed with his technical ability and sold [Ciro] Immobile because he wanted to join Borussia Dortmund so that we could focus on Morata because he is the right young player for us,” added Marotta.

“All this talk is premature at the minute though until we can confirm a second year.”
