Parma mayor Federico Pizzarotti stated that Parma’s chances of hosting their next Serie A game against Atalanta remain low.
Parma have been teetering on the precipice of financial meltdown, with the club struggling to sustain operational costs necessary to play in Serie A.
The Parma mayor spoke to the media ahead of Parma’s Sunday home game against Atalanta, considering that the probability of the Ducali hosting the remains low.
“The percentage of [Parma hosting] the game is down to 40 per cent,” Pizzarotti said to Sky Sport Italia.
“We are currently still doing all the necessary checks with Lega Serie A.”
Parma have already seen both of their last games against Udinese (home) and Genoa (away) postponed, as the Ducali failed to round up the funds to cover hosting and traveling costs respectively.
