AC Milan striker Jeremy Menez believes the Rossoneri can still finish out the season in style after their 3-1 victory over Cagliari on Saturday.
The Frenchman scored two of the goals, increasing his season tally to 15 strikes, however Menez stated that he would rather the team do well as opposed to improving his individual statistics.
“What matters is that we’ve got the three points,” the 27-year-old told Mediaset Premium.
“It’s nice to assist and score goals but I prefer winning.”
The victory against the Rossoblu follows a loss against Fiorentina last weekend, but Menez said the team has improved since then.
“We played well against Fiorentina, but tonight we managed to win.
“There are still 10 games and two or three consecutive wins can bring us right back into it, we can still do it.”
