Inter and AC Milan are reportedly set to battle it out for Sampdoria midfielder Roberto Soriano this summer.

The 24-year-old, whose current contract with the Blucerchiati is set to expire in June 2017, has been having a great season under Sinisa Mihajlovic and it seems like the Nerazzurri and the Rossoneri are willing to put up a fight to secure his signature at the end of the campaign as both focus on rebuilding their squads in the coming months.

According to TuttoSport, Inter had scouts present during their 1-0 away loss to Sampdoria on Sunday to monitor the Italian’s performance, while AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has apparently been interested in landing him since the start of the current campaign.

Reports suggest that the Biscione have also been following La Samp striker Stefano Okaka and could be preparing to make a double move for both talents once the season comes to a close.

Soriano has scored one goal and provided four assists in his 23 Serie A appearances this term thus far.
