News is breaking that Palermo striker Paulo Dybala and his representatives have begun talks with English Premier League side Arsenal to discuss a possible Summer transfer for the player.

The young Argentine has been a revelation in Serie A so far and has become one of Europe’s hottest properties after some scintillating displays for the Sicilian outfit.

According to Metro, Arsene Wenger is a huge admirer of the forward and that the Gunners have spoken to Dybala’s agent to try and agree a contract with the player.

However, the report suggests that no deal has yet be done with the Rosaneri, who will no doubt be demanding a hefty transfer fee to allow the player to leave for the UK.

The newspaper has claimed that Arsenal are prepared to offer a cash sum of €40 million to capture their man, though with Juventus also following developments, that amount may rise should it trigger a bidding war.
