Palermo are currently monitoring the situation of on-loan Chievo Verona goalkeeper Francesco Bardi.
The 23-year-old Italian youth international is currently on loan from Inter for the season, but has not played for the Flying Donkeys since the end of October after losing his place to veteran Albano Bizzarri.
Sport Mediaset report that Palermo are on the lookout for a new goalkeeper for next season to replace the aging Stefano Sorrentino is who 35 this season.
They have pinpointed the highly-rated Bardi as the perfect replacement, and will begin talks with the Nerazzurri in the summer.
Bardi has made nine appearances for Chievo this season.
