Chievo striker Alberto Paloschi admitted he was keen to find the back of the net after scoring the winner for the Flying Donkeys against Palermo on Saturday.
Paloschi’s first half strike secured a 1-0 victory for the side from Verona against a plucky Rosanero, and the striker was pleased to score and secure a key win in front of his home fans.
“I really wanted to score today,” he stated while speaking to Sky Sport Italia after the match.
“I’m really lucky to have scored in front of our fans. They deserve this joy.
“And with safety so close it is even more joyous.”
