As another weekend passes with no Parma fixture played and more failed promises from owner Giampietro Manenti, the Gialloblu president is now deciding whether or not to offload the stricken club.

The club patron has been the subject of fans recent anger and has suggested that his time at the helm of the Ducali may well be up.

“I am thinking about whether or not to stay,” he told Rai. “We’ve all seen the aggression displayed by fans which has upset us a bit. We considered this city to be much more civilised.

“Things that have gone on this week make no sense, it was not my decision to close the stadium. Those fines that have not yet been paid are still to be settled and wheels are in motion.

“Would I sell the club?  If the right offer came in with a properly structured plan then yes absolutely I would.”
