Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade has explained his delight at his side’s victory over Inter.

The Viola were able to triumph 1-0 at the San Siro with Mohamed Salah scoring a second half winner.

“Matches are won and lost,” said Prade to Radio Blu after the victory, “but tonight shows that our three-year plan is going well.”

“There is a strong link between the players, owners and supporters,” he enthused. “The boys impressed me tonight, and finished the match after great sacrifice and pride in the shirt.”

“Tonight,” he went on to admit, “we will enjoy [our win], but tomorrow we will think of Juventus.”

Now unbeaten in twelve games in all competitions, Fiorentina travel to the Juventus Stadium for the first leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final on Thursday evening.

Should they qualify, it would be their second Coppa Italia Final in consecutive seasons.
