Paris Saint-Germain defender David Luiz has heaped praise on Juventus star Paul Pogba, who has been strongly linked with the French club recently.
Pogba is reportedly set to be at the centre of a gigantic transfer tussle in the Summer, with a group of Europe’s top clubs prepared to turn their interest in the midfielder into something substantial.
“Pogba is the best French player at this time, he is an incredible player,” said Luiz to Telefoot, in a thinly-veiled attempt to lure the 22-year-old away from the Bianconeri.
It is believed that a colossal bid in excess of around €90 million may convince Juventus to discuss selling their prized asset, who was awarded the Golden Boy award in 2013.
With Juventus sitting 14 points clear at the top of the Serie A table, Pogba is on course to win his third consecutive Scudetto with the club, in addition to his two Supercoppa Italiana medals.
