Juventus will have to pay Paris Saint-Germain €50 million if they wish to secure the services of Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani for next season.

With the futures of both Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente increasingly uncertain the Bianconeri are in the market for a world class striker who can perform consistently in both domestic competition and in the Champions League.

After playing second fiddle to Zlatan Ibrahimovic since arriving in the French capital, Sportmediaset understands that Cavani has been eager for a move away from Paris since the summer and would be open to a return to the peninsula with the Italian champions.

However, the broadcaster acknowledges that PSG’s asking price would be astronomical and that Manchester United are also a serious contender for the 28-year-old’s signature.

The Bianconeri view Radamel Falcao, currently on loan with the Red Devils, as an alternative to Cavani, while Palermo’s in-form forward Paulo Dybala is seen as another option by the hierarchy in Turin.
