With Filippo Inzaghi’s tenure as AC Milan coach looking increasingly unlikely to last beyond the end of the season, the Rossoneri have already begun exploring their options in regard to who will be in charge next term.

Inzaghi was only appointed to the post in June, and despite early enthusiasm, he has been unable to rejuvenate a Milan team which has regressed under his stewardship with the club currently sitting 10th in the Serie A standings.

With Antonio Conte having ruled himself out of contention for the position, Mediaset reports that Borussia Dortmund’s Jurgen Klopp is the Rossoneri’s first choice for the position, with the broadcaster reporting that there is a 40% chance he could take over, although it does note that both Arsenal and Napoli have shown an interest in the German tactician.

Vincenzo Montella is seen as another option with Mediaset giving him a 25% chance of leading Milan next season due to the difficulties of extracting him from his Fiorentina contract.

Other options put forward by the media company include Luciano Spalletti on 15% and Roberto Donadoni on 10%. Meanwhile, Empoli’s Maurizio Sarri, also on 10%, is a surprise inclusion in the list of potential appointments.
