Inter captain Andrea Ranocchia insists that the Nerazzurri must remain positive despite being knocked out of the Europa League.
Inter lost both legs of their Round of 16 matchup with Wolfsburg but Ranocchia is adamant that it is not the end of their season.
“We are disappointed but we will keep looking forward,” Ranocchia told Inter Channel after the match at the San Siro against Wolfsburg.
“We have a big match against Sampdoria over the weekend and we will give our all.
“There is a still a long way to go in Serie A and plenty of points to play for.
“We knew with Wolfsburg winning the first leg that they would play on the counter attack.
“We had plenty of chances but could not take them and then it became difficult.
“The fans were great, when I came onto the pitch I got goosebumps.
“There were fantastic because it is a shame that we are still talking about a defeat.”
