Bayern Munich goalkeeper Pepe Reina believes that Napoli boss Rafa Benitez is destined to return to England in the near future.
The 32-year-old has developed a close relationship with the tactician while working with him over the years at both Liverpool and the Partenopei and he claims that, while Benitez may be enjoying his time in Naples, he still expects the coach to head back to the Premier League eventually in order to be closer to his family.
Reina spoke to talkSPORT about where Benitez could end up in the future and commented on why the Spanish tactician would leave Napoli.
“His main intention is always to stay close to his family, who currently live in Liverpool and are happy there,” said the goalkeeper. “So if he has a chance to return to the Premier League then why not?
“He is happy in Naples, but family always comes first and he will have to make a decision.
“For all I know he’s fine at Napoli, but he’s definitely looking forward to returning to England.”
