Serie A side Roma have ended their feud with referee Gianluca Rocchi after the official had been criticised by the Giallorossi for his performance back in October against rivals Juventus.

The game ended amid controversy after a 3-2 win for the Bianconeri. Debate surrounding the award of two penalties and a potential offside that was not given after Leonardo Bonucci struck the winner for Juve, filled headlines following the final whistle.

According to the Corriere Dello Sport, tactician Rudi Garcia and director Mauro Baldissoni met Rocchi at a Hilton Hotel during a reunion for players, coaches and referees during which the three men had a brief chat.

Smiling and joking, both parties appeared to be at ease with each other, the report suggesting that the official offered an apology for his performance, which was accepted by director Baldissoni.

Rocchi had publicly made his feelings clear a fortnight after the match that perhaps his display on that night was not as it should have been, having reviewed a recording of the game.
