Marco BrancaRoma’s poor form since the turn of the year could see changes made in the club hierarchy next season, with under pressure sporting director Walter Sabatini possibly being replaced by Marco Branca.

The Giallorossi are now 14 points behind Serie A leaders Juventus and out of the Europa League, leading to criticism of the club’s management.

Tuttosport claims that this change could be in the sporting director role, with the man who held the post at Inter for 12 years until February 2014, Branca being lined up to take Sabatini’s place.

The move would reportedly guarantee the future at Roma of coach Rudi Garcia, who has also been under pressure of late.

Branca played seven games for Roma during the 1995-96 season scoring two goals, and was credited with bringing the likes of Samuel Eto’o and Wesley Sneijder to Inter.
