Roberto Soriano SampdoriaSampdoria star Roberto Soriano admits that it would be hard to turn down the chance to return to the German Bundesliga.

The 24-year-old is currently on national team duty with the Azzurri, but actually played his youth football with German giants Bayern Munich.

His form this season has led to speculation that many elite Serie A and Bundesliga outfits are on his trial, but Soriano insists he is not getting carried away with the speculation.

“My future? At Samp, I am fine. We have a very strong team with the right coach, but every player dreams of playing at a big club,” Soriano told Transfermarkt.

“Replacing Gundogan [at Borussia Dortmund]? It would be an honor if a big club like Dortmund made an offer for me, it’s one of the biggest clubs in the world.

“The Bundesliga is one of the best leagues in the world that attracts the best players. The Bundesliga is a tantalizing option for me, I’d be lying if I said that wasn’t the case.

“The things related to the transfer market, my agent will deal with, and I’ll stay quiet. I’ve only been playing regularly for a year and a half, lets see what happens in June.”
