Tottenham Hotspur are preparing a €14 million summer transfer bid for Torino captain Kamil Glik.

The Polish international has become a key player in Turin since joining Torino from Palermo in 2011 and the Polish international has been attracting admiring glances following a series of impressive performances at the heart of the Granata defence.

La Stampa understands that Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is a great admirer of the 27-year-old and sent scouts to watch his performance on Sunday evening as Poland took on the Republic of Ireland in Dublin.

In the face of ongoing transfer speculation Glik has refused to talk about a move away from Turin and he recently reaffirmed his commitment to Torino by stating that he intends to see out his contract which runs until June 2017.
