Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a move for Torino captain Kamil Glik this summer as they look to strengthen their defence.

The 27-year-old, whose current contract with the Granata is set to expire in June 2017, is a main component of the Turin side’s back line and it seems like the Spurs have noticed his talent on the pitch as they’re now thought to be viewing him as a main transfer target for the near future.

According to The Sun, Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino would be willing to pay a fee of around €10 million for the Polish international’s services at the end of the season.

The Premier League side’s pursuit of the defender might not be successful, however, as Glik recently stated that he has no intention of leaving Il Toro any time soon.

The centre back, who arrived at Torino from Palermo in July 2011, has scored a whopping six goals and has provided one assist in his 22 Serie A appearances this term thus far.
