Giampiero Ventura TorinoSerie A could be set for a Summer of coaching changes with the likes of Giampiero Ventura, Sinisa Mihajlovic and Eusebio Di Francesco the most sought-after tacticians on the Peninsula.

As the season reaches it’s climax, club owners and directors are already busy trying to put plans in place to prepare for the new campaign, which in many instances will include a new coach sitting on the team bench.

La Gazzetta Dello Sport is reporting that Torino’s Ventura could make a switch to the San Siro, replacing the embattled Filippo Inzaghi. The Rossoneri are also maintaining contact with Empoli’s Maurizo Sarri, Sassuolo’s Di Francesco and Sampdoria’s Mihajlovic, should Super Pippo be relieved of his duties in May.

Napoli are awaiting a response from Rafael Benitez regarding the Spaniard’s intentions and should he decide to leave the Partenopei, then owner Aurelio de Laurentiis is expected to ask former Roma coach Luciano Spalletti to take his place.

The Giallorossi are themselves making preparations for a possible Rudi Garcia exit, with Walter Mazzarri the first in line to take up the role in Rome, with Di Francesco a further option if he decides to quit the Neroverdi.

Fiorentina’s Vincenzo Montella is another wanted man, but given he has a €5 million release clause in his contract, he may ultimately remain at the Stadio Artemio Franchi for a further season despite interest from Milan and the Neapolitans.

The only men said to be certain to stay with current sides are Lazio’s Stefano Pioli and Juve’s Massimiliano Allegri, both of which will be offered extensions to their deals.

As for Roberto Mancini at Inter, the ex-Manchester City manager should be allowed the start of next season to try and turn around the fortunes of the Nerazzurri, though how much time he will be given may be determined by how good the early results turn out to be.
