Mario Balotelli’s temper has become well documented over the years, and especially around Merseyside as of late; so much so that Liverpools fans have learn to preemptively contain the fiery striker.
On Sunday afternoon, Liverpool hosted Manchester United in the English Premier League but were undone at Anfield 2–1 on the day, after Steven Gerrard was sent off in the second half.
It was following the sending off, and with the Reds trailing 2–0, that Balotelli almost got it in with Manchester United defender Chris Smalling down the sidelines.
The Liverpool fans were quick to react however, holding back the striker from doing anything silly in retaliation and likely getting booked.
