Cagliari head coach Gianfranco Zola has stated that he sees Sampdoria as being one of the best attacking teams in Serie A ahead of their match.
Lowly Cagliari face a tricky trip to Genova to face the Blucerchiati on the back of four consecutive defeats leaving them three points adrift from safety and Zola knows the difficulties his side will face on Saturday.
“[Sampdoria?] They have one of the best attacks in the league,” Zola said at his press conference on Friday afternoon.
“They have both the quality and the quantity of players.
“It will be a difficult game for us but we have the quality and we will have to play courageously.
“The team’s attitude has always been good, apart from Sunday against Hellas Verona and we took a step back.
“At a time like this it is useless to feel sorry for yourselves, we won’t get any help from anyone else so we have to keep our heads held high.
“We have some problems in midfield, but I have several players who can adapt and I can change the formation.
“[Josef Husbauer?] He has improved a lot and has the qualities to break through into this league.
“I have always wanted to give him a chance, but only when I thought we was ready.”
