AC Milan striker Giampaolo Pazzini was disappointed by the team’s 2-1 loss against Udinese at the Stadio Friuli.

Pazzini’s late strike could not inspire a late comeback from the Rossoneri as goals from Giampiero Pinzi and Emmanuel Badu condemned Milan to a third successive game without a win.

”We did not play well, we lost and we regret this,” Pazzini told Milan Channel after the game.

“It’s a shame that we lost such an important game but hopefully we will improve on Wednesday.”

Pazzini’s goal was his first since scoring against Cesena in a 2-0 victory in late February and will be hoping to add to his tally for the season when Milan host Genoa at the San Siro on Wednesday.

The defeat leaves Milan six points behind sixth placed Fiorentina having played a game more.
