As AC Milan continue to misfire on the pitch, off the field valuations of the club and it’s playing staff have dramatically plummeted in the space of just over ten years.

Back in 2004, the Rossoneri beat the Sicilians who had just been promoted from Serie B with a goal by Brazilian Serginho, and only 18 months previous had also been crowned Champions League winners.

La Gazzetta Dello Sport is today reporting that the Milan of 2004 was worth around €120 million, comprising of players such as Andriy Shevchenko, Paolo Maldini, Gennaro Gattuso, Kaka and Andrea Pirlo.

However, fast forward to 2015 and the side coached by Filippo Inzaghi is barely topping €70 million, an amount which matches the estimated value of the current Rosaneri squad.

Figures which underline just how low the mighty Milan outfit has fallen as well as the changing face of Serie A.
