Despite having only joined Roma in July, Argentine forward Juan Iturbe could be set for a move away from the Italian capital with several Premier League giants set to spark a bidding war for his services when the transfer window open in June.

The 21-year-old was Roma’s big summer signing with the Giallorossi paying Hellas Verona €22 million for his services. However, the winger has generally failed to justify that outlay with his on field performances, and has yet to fully convince at the Stadio Olimpico.

The Daily Express reports that both Arsenal and Liverpool are ready to section transfer bids for Iturbe at the end of the current season, as they anticipate the possible departures of Theo Walcott and Raheem Sterling, respectively.

Although the player’s agent, Gustavo Mascardi has confirmed English interest in his client he has stated that it is unlikely that Iturbe will move away from Roma at this time.
