Atletico Madrid would have their sights set on Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain in order to further bolster their attacking options.
The reports of Atletico Madrid’s interest in the Argentina come after the Spanish club was linked with another Napoli forward, Jose Callejon.
Fichajes.net report that Atletico Madrid would be preparing a €30 million bid for Higuain, and offer him a contract worth €4.5 million per year.
Higuain has scored 13 goals this year in his 29 Serie A appearances for Napoli.
