Parma substitute Ishak Belfodil was pleased with his side’s 2-2 draw against Empoli at Stadio Carlo Castellani.
Francesco Lodi had given the lead to the Ducali early in the first half, but Massimo Maccarone and Lorenzo Tonelli struck twice before half time to give Empoli a well deserved lead. But, Belfodil struck midway through the second half to square the score.
“I am happy as my goal earned a point for Parma,” Belfodil told Sky Sport Italia.
“I always think about doing well as a team.
“Many people say I have talent, but for me, I have to prove it.
“Starting from the bench doesn’t make me angry, but the point is I have to help my team.
“We know that in this situation, whatever we do is worth double.”
