Rafael Benitez NapoliNapoli coach Rafael Benitez has reacted to Friday’s Europa League semi final draw by praising the opposition for the next round, Ukraine’s Dnipro.

The Partenopei are now just two legs away from reaching the final of a competition they last won in 1989, but must first see off what their coach views to be opposition of huge quality.

“When you get to play in the semi final of a European competition it means that you are a world class team,” commented the Spaniard to reporters after the draw was confirmed.

“This is demonstrated by the Dnipro victories against Ajax, Olympiakos and Club Brugge, who until yesterday were undefeated.”

Benitez claims that playing the first leg at home, on May 7, does not give the club an advantage.

“Playing at home does not change much, as we saw against Dynamo Moscow.”

The return fixture will be played in Ukraine on May 14.
