mihajlovic-ferreroSerie A side Sampdoria are starting to consider their options for next season, should current boss Sinisa Mihajlovic leave the club.

The Serbian tactician has achieved a mini miracle with the Blucerchiati, lifting them to an impressive sixth in the league, outperforming teams such as Inter, AC Milan and city rivals Genoa. His exploits have linked the coach to several illustrious roles in Serie which include Napoli as well as the two Milan giants.

A report in the Corriere Mercantile is suggesting that owner Massimo Ferrero has earmarked Marseille tactician Marcelo Bielsa as a potential replacement, should Mihajlovic depart in the Summer.

Argentine Bielsa would be considered a high profile capture, the 59-year-old having already lead his country and coached domestic clubs such as Athletic Bilbao, Espanyol and Velez Sarsfield.
