Boca Juniors president Daniel Angelici declared his plans to sign Juventus striker Carlos Tevez next summer.

Tevez has openly made his intentions of leaving Juventus at the end of his contract well known, with a move back to Argentina on the cards.

The Boca Juniors president would be looking to possibly sign Tevez before the end of the striker’s contract with Juventus however, whilst admitting that option could prove a bit more complicated.

“We were very close to bring Tevez back to Argentina,” Angelici said on TYC Sports.

“I spoke to Tevez to come back already last year but his being linked to Juventus until 2016 made things complicated.

“If that contract were to be dissolved before then however, then the door would be open [for us to sign him].

“I hope there can be negotiations with the player however, as Juventus currently own his economic rights.”
