Following their 2-0 win over Lazio on Saturday night, Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci stated that his side have not won Serie A just yet despite sitting 15 points clear at the top.
The Italian international scored his side’s second goal in the encounter when he finished off his run with a strike from just outside the box, and Bonucci went on to explain how he was able to score the goal.
“When I received the ball from Andrea [Pirlo] I saw the movements of the two strikers and I just thought to go through the middle,” he told Sky. “Then I saw the space open up and finished the ball in the bottom corner.
“As long as we haven’t mathematically won it yet, then we have to keep on going. Tonight we saw a great Juventus side, especially from a mentality point of view.
“My usual goal celebration is for my friends, one of them is actually a Laziale.”
