Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp would be AC Milan’s first choice to succeed Filippo Inzaghi should a proposed Thai takeover take place.
The 47-year-old German, who has confirmed an end of season departure from Dortmund after seven years in charge, sparked further debate over his next destination when refusing to answer questions on links to several teams in the English Premier League.
“I’m not interested in what the Premier League thinks of me,” Klopp told reporters at a pre-match press conference ahead of his side’s clash with Eintracht Frankfurt.
“I’m just looking forward to the rest of our season.”
According to Sport Mediaset, Klopp would be the chosen appointment of Bee Taechaubol in the event of the Thai entrepreneur taking ownership of the club.
Other non-English sides said to be in the frame for his services include fellow Serie A outfit Napoli, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
