Pellissier - Cesena v ChievoChievo Verona captain Sergio Pellissier was pleased after his team’s 1-1 draw to Udinese on Sunday afternoon in Serie A, conveying his satisfaction for having scored.

The Chievo striker scored the opening goal for the Flying Donkeys, but unfortunately his efforts proved insufficient as Udinese were able to snatch a point from the game.

Pellissier discussed his new role at the club now, and expressed his happiness at scoring on the day.

“It isn’t easy as I had to get used to a new reality,” Pellissier said to Sky Sport Italia.

“To switch from playing every single minutes, to have to come on in games for a few was hard; but it has helped me too.

“I try not to focus so much on it though, and sometimes [like today] you have a bit of luck in decisive moments.”

The 36-year-old striker has been at Chievo since 2000, and made 402 appearances for the club since.
