After suffering a 3-0 loss at the hands of Napoli, Cagliari coach Zdenek Zeman has expressed major concerns over the remainder of the Serie A campaign.
The Sardinians have now endured four straight league losses and are in real danger of relegation as they remain in 19th place after the result.
“We are rightfully concerned, but you have to try to do more to get out of this situation,” said Zeman to Sky Sport Italia following the loss.
“We conceded to the possession game of Napoli, then the second goal just before the end of the first half did not help us to be more convincing for the second half.”
The coach added his reflection on playing in the hostile environment provided by the fans at the Sant’Elia.
“It’s hard to play against the opponents with this environment,” Zeman said.
