Cesena coach Domenico Di Carlo hopes his side will be able to cope with the pressure as they look to defeat Chievo Verona in Sunday’s early kickoff in Serie A.

The Cavalucci Marini stand just four points from safety, and will look to close that gap against a Gialloblu side he expects will pose a difficult test.

“Chievo are an established team,” Di Carlo noted in his pre-match press conference, “and [coach Rolando] Maran has started to get the best out of Pellissier.

“On Sunday it will be a difficult match as Chievo’s strength is their compactness. This season they have added technical quality.

“We have to handle the pressure and return to winning ways and need an environment of unity and positivity.

“We will have to increase the tempo in order to win,” Di Carlo continued, “but still play our own game.”
