Cesena coach Domenico Di Carlo has stated that his side are ready for Sunday’s clash against Genoa in Serie A.

The Cavallucci Marini currently sit in 18th, seven points adrift from safety, and the former Livorno boss made it clear that the clash differs from last week’s meeting against Genoa’s city rivals Sampdoria.

“There is a difference between this game and last week’s,” Di Carlo started. “We studied our opponents really well, and we know how to play against them.

“[Franco] Brienza and [Francesco] Renzetti have fully recovered, the side know that in order to win we have to run more than the other side. I expect the right attitude and great character. We’ll have to be both intense and quick.

“However, I’m not worrying about these things because I’ve seen the team work during the week, and I know we’re ready.”
