Sassuolo coach Eusebio Di Francesco insists he is proud of his side’s effort in their 1-1 home draw with Torino on Sunday afternoon.
The Neroverdi would have been the happier side at the end of the contest given Torino’s dominance, but Di Francesco insists he is happy with his sides application during the encounter.
“Often I speak of having the right attitude and it might seem repetitive. Today though, I received a lot of satisfaction,” Di Francesco told Sky Sport Italia.
“Despite the difficulties and the absences, we have not changed the way we play and our application, especially from our forwards.
“[Simone] Zaza lives for the goal, but today I saw the Zaza I want. He sacrificed a lot in a game where we had four strikers on the pitch.”
