Antonio Conte ItalyItaly slipped out of the top 10 in the latest FIFA world rankings after briefly cracking the barrier for the first time since last June.

The Azzurri fell three places to 13th after a pair of disappointing draws against Bulgaria in a Euro 2016 qualification and a friendly at Juventus Stadium against England where coach Antonio Conte’s men surrendered a late goal.

Switzerland and Spain checked into the top 10 at the expense of France and Italy in this month’s rankings published on Thursday.

FIFA World Cup winners Germany maintain the deserved top spot, followed by Argentina, Belgium, Colombia and Brazil in the first five spots.

The rankings mark a high-water mark for both Belgium and Wales (22) who square off in Cardiff on June 12 in a Euro 2016 qualifier while the Azzurri travel to Group H leaders Croatia in a match which will be played behind closed doors.
