The agent of Fiorentina midfielder Milan Badelj has revealed his client could move away from the club and will discuss his future in the summer.

The Croatia international has made 26 appearances in all competitions since arriving last summer from Hamburg and is hoping to continue playing as a regular starter after initially struggling for opportunities.

“Milan is very pleased with the last two to three months because he is finally playing with greater continuity,” Dejan Joksimovic told Europacalcio.

“His initial period in the Viola shirt was not easy. He was not happy being on the bench because he is a player that is used to always starting and arrived at Fiorentina with the same intent.

“However, his relationship with [Vincenzo] Montella is good and now things are going better.

“Future still with Fiorentina? It is hard to declare this now, as we have to wait for the end of the season to talk with the club.

“What I can say is that there a several major clubs that have been following him relentlessly for the last year, including three top German clubs.

“Interest from AC Milan and Inter? It is difficult at the moment to understand the intentions of these two clubs.

“His aim for the future? Simple, to regularly play as a starter, everything else does not matter. Badelj lives for football.”
