According to La Nazione, Fiorentina manager Vincenzo Montella wants to bring in Scuffet in order to provide back-up cover in goal for current first team starter Ciprian Tatarusanu.

Scuffet enjoyed an impressive first season in 2013/14, garnering many plaudits for his mature performances at such a young age. The lure of possible European football that Fiorentina could provide next season could be too good to turn down for the young keeper.
