Genoa defender primed for summer move to Inter

Inter could be set to make a move for Genoa central defender Sebastian De Maio in the summer as Roberto Mancini looks to continue to rebuild his side ahead of next season.

The Nerazzurri could be on the look out for defensive reinforcements with the futures of Nemanja Vidic and captain Andrea Ranocchia still unclear with both players linked with moves away in recent weeks.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb.com, Inter have kept tabs on the 28-year-old in the past few months, and could make their move for the former Brescia centre-back when the season ends. Lazio and Fiorentina are also thought to be showing interest in the French-born defender.

De Maio qualifies to play for Italy and is form for the Rossoblu has been such that Azzurri coach Antonio Conte is considering calling up the centre-back to the national side for the upcoming Euro 2016 qualifier against Croatia away and home friendly against Portugal in June.
