Torino’s Kamil Glik was delighted after his side’s 2-1 win over cross-town rivals Juventus in Serie A.
The Torino captain praised his team’s effort and come-from-behind victory over the Bianconeri in Sunday afternoon’s Derby della Mole.
The win marked the first Torino victory over Juventus in 20 years, which Glik was quick to point out in saluting his teammate’s performance.
“We all know the derby is a special game, and today I am happy because we did something historic,” Glik said to Sky Sport Italia.
“I did not score today but wins like today are just as good as scoring [for defenders like me].”
