Palermo coach Giuseppe Iachini spoke ahead of his team’s Serie A match on Sunday against Genoa, setting the target to win as many games as possible until the end of the season.
Palermo are sitting comfortably 11th in Serie A, and now turn their focus towards ending the season as well as possible.
Iachini emphasized that wish when speaking to the press, setting the 50-point target to his team for the remainder of the season.
“We start every game wanting to win, and now want to end the season as well as possible and set ourselves a target to reach 50 points,” Iachini said in his pre-match press conference.
“We always have the desire to improve and these last games will be useful to make an assessment of the team’s future prospects.
“We keep our feet firmly on the ground.”
