Inter have reportedly struck a deal with Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech which could see him move to Serie A in the summer.

Rumours have persisted in recent weeks that the Nerazzurri will cash in on current glovesman Samir Handanovic at the end of the season, with talks over a new contract not progressing as smoothly as planned.

Now, according to the Corriere dello Sport, Inter have come to an agreement with Chelsea’s Cech as Handanovic’s replacement.

The Slovenian currently earns €2 million a season, but wants to increase his wage to €3m if he is to stay at Inter beyond June 2016. The Nerazzurri have offered €2.5m plus bonuses.

As a result of this impasse is seems Inter have turned to Cech who is unhappy at being No.2 to Thibaut Courtois in the Stamford Bridge pecking order.

The Czech’s contract also expires in 2016 and any fee received from the sale of Handanovic would likely be used to finance a move for the 32-year-old.
