Davide Santon was on the spot in front of the microphone recently talking about Inter’s chances of European qualification.
The 24-year-old Inter primavera product is back at the club after a turbulent three season stint at Newcastle United in which injuries, disagreements and an apparent lack of form meant the Italian international’s services were let go. Since his arrival back in Milan Santon has been slowly regaining match fitness.
The Inter defender spoke to SportMediaset: “European Dream?” began Santon, “Europe is not so far away, there are many games. We have to face the competition with a winning mentality until the end of the season. The team is working together to grow.”
Santon has made made 11 appearances for Inter this season in all competitions with seven of those coming in Serie A.
