On-loan Inter striker Lukas Podolski has been considering a return to his parent team Arsenal.
The German World Cup winner joined Inter in January, on loan from Arsenal, but has looked to return to the Premier League after a disappointing stint with the Nerazzurri.
“I am looking forward to having an opportunity to go back to Arsenal and play football there,” Podolski told the Daily Mail.
“I have one more year left on my contract at Arsenal and I want to succeed there.
“I had two great seasons at Arsenal where I scored lots of goals and created a lot of chances for the team.
“At the start of this season, however, things did not go well and that is why I joined Inter.
“For the moment all I am thinking about is playing well for Inter.
“Although I am ready to return to English football with Arsenal.”
